Just totally fed up
Went for a drink with a friend tonight, and just got really fed up. I have been basically renovating the pub sign for nearly nothing. Its not my style of painting but I do work in design, I didnt want to change the sign it could be decades old, it should be viewed from at least 10ft away. On a family canal barge trip at the weekend I met and got talking to a British Waterways Lock Warden. Anyway upturn was after talking to me and my brother in law who mentioned I painted, he has asked me if I would be interested in painting two panels on his barge of Pegasus the Flying Horse. unusual project
Recently a lorry hit the pub sign at my local pub. The sign is bent in one corner so needs hammering out, however I have do idea how long the pub sign has been up, its been there for the twenty years I moved into the area and possibly much much longer.
