About the technique…

I use many kinds of reference plus I draw a lot out of my head.
Then I do a underdrawing that could be marker, pencil, ink, watercolor, pastels… just about anything. Then I start with the pastels on top to finish. Sometimes I have another step before finish where I scan the underdrawing into Photoshop and work on color and contrast before printing it out to what ever paper I want to use. Not always the same… what ever feels right.
