The gold ringed Mangrove snake (Boiga dendrophila) is a colubrid nocturnal species with rear-fangs. The snake grows to an average size of 1.8-2.4 m (6-8 Feet) in length. The Boiga dendrophila is found in the following locations:-
Indonesia (Bangka, Belitung, Borneo, Java, Sulawesi, Riau Archipelago, Samatra), India, Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippine Islands
