Wish Kalko fled, flying away from two other dragons because he had stolen their chicken. He breathed a fireball and the dragons slowed down.So he started running in the woods. He ran and tripped over a log.
The log said “hey! watch where you’re going!” Kalko tried to blow a fireball, but found out that he had lost his fire powers.”Ha ha you have lost your fire powers”said Bilbong [the log].” How do I get my fire powers back” asked Kalko. “There is a mountain called Magic Mountain, on its top there is a egg, if you eat the egg your fire powers will come back, but if you want them to stay you must do something good.” “Wher is the mountain”? asked Kalko.”Other side of the Haunted City Now go!”
So Kalko set off to the Haunted City. Kalko came to a forest that surounded the city. So he went into the forest. He walked and he walked, then suddenly he was hanging upside down by his ankle. He had stepped into a trap!
After a while some men came arned whith spears. One of the men said “Hey we caught a dragon. We can sell this for a lot of gold.” Kalko twisted and turned but he could not get free. “Aah!” screamed a man.He fell down dead.
Dwarves came out of the ground and started fighting the men. The dwarves killed another man and the rest fled. One of the dwafves cut the cord that held Kalko up.
“Thank you” said Kalko ” Where are you going?” asked the leader dwarf. “To the Haunted City” said Kalko. “Then come whith us, we have an underground tunnel that leads there” said the leader dwarf. So Kalko followed the dwarves through a tunnel, The tunnel was cold dark and damp.At the end of the tunnel there was a ladder that lead through a trap door. Kalko said thank you and went thruogh the trap door.
The city was very quiet, it looked like it was dead. He went to the end of the city and to the back gate. The porter said “If you want to go to Magic Mountain you have to go through that tunnel”. So Kalko went through the tunnel.
He walked and walked, then suddenly a monster cane with four arms and it came charging for Kalko. Kalko was hit straight into the tunnel wall.Kalko quikly got up and broke some stalic tites from the roof and pinned the monster to the ground. so he flew out the cave and he went went up the mountain.
Up, up he flew , until he goy there . There it was! A giant silver egg. He walked up to it , suddenly there was a giant armoured eagle and it knocked Kalko ten metres back. He was bleeding. He picked up a rock and through it at the eagle. The eagle drew back. Kalko ran forwards and took a bite off the egg. Then he blew a fire ball and the eagle came hurtling towards the ground. Kalko finished eating the egg. Then he remembered that he had to do something good. So he bought a chicken for the dragons he stole from. And they let him have lunch with them.
