There is real movement in this – were you tracking the kite so the sky is whizzing past ? Its a great shot anyway

  • Teresa Schultz replied

Now you got me thinking, gee I can’t really remember, even though this was just two days ago, there was hardly any wind and the boys were running with these kites, but they still went up fairly high as you can see in the image of Basti running with a kite, the original of this has a pretty boring pale blue background, no real clouds as such, but the boys would turn at one end of the field and run back, and that’s where I got the shot, so maybe this is where it was kinda “not moving”, I think it’s just the effect that did that movement thing. Glad u like it though! :)

Fantastic, this looks so effective. It also looks a bit ominous – fun is over, get home before the big storm!

  • Teresa Schultz replied

yes, kinda stormy, even though it wasn’t at the time, thanks, I like your description!

The grain effect really makes this nice one Teresa

  • Teresa Schultz replied

ah thanks Iain :), it’s a metallic filter in micrografix, and if it produced a grainy effect that you like, then I’m pleased! It featured in minimalism group about 8 hours ago!
