Aren't We Beautiful?! :)

The sisters knew they are beautiful so they posed for the camera for a long time until I got it “right”. :)

Yes, I believe I’m very lucky to be trusted by the “wild beings”; however, I put in a LOT of efforts in getting to know them. :)

Terri, it is a blessing to be able to see through your lens these trusting friends of yours and River’s. Pretty does in their loveliest colours.

  • TerriRiver replied

    Thank you so much Carmen!
I often feel that my lens doesn’t do any of them justice as they look much better at all times, “live”. :) I promise I’ll do my best not to disappoint you! :)

They are beautiful indeed. It’s wonderful that through the Bubble we can all see images of creatures which we don’t have in our own countries – and perhaps sometimes we take their beauty and uniqueness for granted, until we realise how much other people find them so fascinating. Only wild feral deer here in the Adelaide Hills, escaped or released from deer farms, and they’re a BIG nuisance, so it’s great to see some in their own environment, causing nothing but joy!

My mother has a b&w photo of the deer park 1912, I visited them in colour in 1974. Today I feel the loss of my mother and the remoteness of living in two cultures worlds apart. It takes a deer to bridge or rekindle the inspiring gap. Thankyou, your images make me see for miles…on a clear day…snow white, sky so blue…friend.
