This is looking back at the Arc de Triomphe from Avenue Marceau. We walked the length of the Champs Elysees from the Louvre to see the Arc de Triomphe without realising just how far it was – we were actually on our way to the Eiffel Tower & walked back down Avenue d’Lena just before dark & in time to see the light show at the Tower

I have recently moved to 2.5 acres at Bonny Hills on the NSW mid north coast from Sydney’s northern beaches. My favourite medium is pastel, and recently I’ve started using oils again. Other inspiration comes from holidays around Australia and overseas.

You are churning out some really great work Terri! I love the light in this. The headlights reflecting on the road make a great visual anchor, and then you start looking around the rest of the painting. Wonderful palette.

  • Thank you for the comment & the fave Lynda!
