The smell of roses in all their sensual mystery drifts near as I go about my daily tasks. What is one to do?

These roses are from Deacon Vale Farm on Mayne Island, British Columbia Canada.

The process used is paintography where a photograph has been rendered as a painting. Nothing too fancy was done. It is a simple dry brush rendering. It was finding the right light to photograph the original subject that has the biggest influence on this image. It was on a table under a skylight so the surrounding areas are in the shadow. Only natural lighting was used and a narrow depth of field.
