try using your burn tool on the skyscrapers and horizon, hope you dont mind me adding, are you using PS?

Thats cool. Yep, cs3. I’ll have a play tonight. A nice border really adds to some shots i feel. Darken up the background a little bit you think?

CS3 sweet, burn it a little right across the page, then turn into grayscale, go to filters and use diffuse glow (under distort), change it back to colour and the go to colour balance and drag the yellow (to look like sepia). then go to levels and darken to taste….will look the bomb

missed one, after you burn the horizon, grab your blur tool and blur the horizon and buildings….
just a thought :)

you can even drop a slight film grain over it at the end…to look old school
