Are these the royals of Portugal? One can really feel the power of the King and Queen here…..nice perspective!! We all know the Columbus story in the good ole USA! The primary teachers often make jello or gelatin jewels for the little ones in honor of Isabella and Columbus day. Recently, I have learned that the Templars probably came to north america first. There are signs that even the Mayans and even Philistines were here very early on. I love history!:)

  • This is the most fabulous work of the Order of Christ in Portugal
( The knights saw their persecution by the King of France and eventual disbandment by the Pope in 1312. With this, the King Dinis I of Portugal created the Order of Christ in 1317 for the knights that were able to survive their mass slaughter throughout Europe. In Portugal, the order saw great riches and importance within the Age of Discoveries.) (wikipedia)
