The fundamentals of any work of art is drawing.
For that reason, I love to see the genesis of it, leaving the drawing transparent. The lines have to be there, the story of the work is represented in every single form, shade and depth. Architectural drawings represent reality. Every line has a function and it is built.
Today we do not see many lines in modern architectural drawings, because every line has a price in the construction reality.
I don’t know the prices of construction in 15th century. They had a strong motivation throughout the centuries, to leave a legacy to the world, which they did, and milions still visit their monumental Cathedrals, Castles and Palaces.
