In the hot noon sun

playing in the waves each summer
Surfers and sun
Hot beach runs
Tasting foam and waves and wonder
Guys and gals on boards
Spnning curls that spit and roar
Crashing on the beach all day long
Bodies wave and sway
While the radio plays
The lines of a Beachboys song
Late while the sun sinks slow
Time stops in that evening glow
To build a bonfire for roasting
A purple sunset
And music to let
Us dance to my old guitar
I love the sunrise in the morning,
That old moon slding by in the night
Feeling summer breezes from sunny Morraco
The surf in the cool twilight
Soaking up the stars at night
And the crowd dances on the patio to the sounds of Macaco
