This little wool carder bee (thank you jesika for the identification) would hover around another little bee, in this case a tiny wasp, for a few seconds, then he would pounce on him and cling to him for about 5 to 10 seconds. Apparently the little wasp wandered into the bee’s territory, and being extremely aggressive and territorial, the carder bee is attempting to crush the invader.
