Sometimes my husband just doesn’t understand the meaning of the words “I’d really like to get a shot of that”. Instead of stopping he just drives right on by….and I sit and quietly fume for about, oh, the rest of the day!! Well, this time it really worked out better for me. We were driving home when I said I wanted a shot of this barn, but of course those words weren’t in his vocabulary at that moment. We got home, I got him unloaded, I hopped back in the car and drove the 40 minutes back to this beautiful old barn. When I got there I it was early evening and the light was awesome. Shadows were stretching out on the pasture, but the barn was still in that gorgeous autumn evening light. I took my pics, drove home and thanked my husband for not stopping. I loved the puzzled look on his face as I turned and went to my office!! LOL!!
The bit of the mountain top in the background is the very top of Mt Rainier.
