Marvin, the purrfect kitten.

He is about 11 weeks old now and he just found a new home. He will be missed by all of us.

My daughter volunteered to participate in The Winnipeg Humane Society foster care program which operates in an attempt to give each animal a fair opportunity to be placed into an adoption program.

She provides a shelter animal with a temporary home and they provide all supplies needed until the animal can be returned to the shelter for adoption.

Marvin is the most precious kitten I have ever seen. He loves to cuddle and could just stay in my daughter’s arms purrring constantly for hours. We should probably call him Purrrvin instead.
All kittens that my daughter took home were adorable, sweet and precious but so far Marvin was definitely our favorite.

Teresa what an adorable capture this is. Looks like I should just be able to reach out and stroke him :>)) Leslie

  • Thank you Leslie. We are very sorry to let him go but it’s my daughter’s friend who took him home so we might be able to see him from time to time.

Beautiful. I dont think think I could do what you daughter does, I would not be able to give them back lol

  • Thank you Sarah. It’s really hard when the time comes and probably the reason she convinced her co-worker to take him. This way she can see him whenever she wants to.

Love that “Superman” pose! Great perspective on this shot, too! I don’t think it would’ve have such an impact at a different angle. Fantastic work!
Also, the work you and your daughter are doing is fantastic, too. It takes a special kind of person to be able to do that. Unfortunately, I don’t think I could ever do that! I’d have to keep ‘em all!! A huge thank you goes out to both of you, for what you do! There’s so many animals that need people like you!

  • Thank yo very much. We are lucky my daughter’s friend took him home and we can still visit to see how he is doing.
