Thanks to Bradley Nichol

for giving me the perfect title.

This surfer completely missed the wave and ended up upside down while my husband watched and I was snapping away.
Really funny.

Thought you were fast on the trigger with your sparrow shot. That one gave you an eternity compared to this. lol.
    Good work, Teresa !!

  • Teresa Zieba replied

Thanks Stan, it was really funny when he run with his board and I was ready to a perfect action shot. All of the sudden the board was nowhere to be seen and he was falling, legs flying and my hubby stunned face, I saw it all in my viewfinder and decided to shoot anyway, still action but a different kind.

Isn’t a wipeout, unless serious, the whole point of surfing? :)))
    It sure was mine!

  • Teresa Zieba replied

Thank you Wayne. I thought the whole point was to stay on the board not to go off it, lol!! What do I know anyway.

When I lived in Lima, Peru, I loved to fall into the surf at the last moments of a run, feel the foam around me, going up my nose, the bubbles like champagne….my god, that brings back wonderful memories!

  • Teresa Zieba replied

That sure sounds good. My hubby and I love to ride the waves with our bodies and end up on the beach with scratched stomache. It’s sure fun.
