This green winged teal drake stopped off pretty close to shore and in shallow water whe it started to groom. It was not at all put off by my presence and that of others. I was fortunate enough to capture this behaviour from such a close vantage point. Photographed at Andrew Haydon Park in Ottawa On Canada on an overcast day with a Nikon D3s and a Nikon 600 mm lens.
