I was fortunate enough to approach and photograph this pair of scaups as the setting sun’s reflected light provided a nice backdrop in a local Ottawa area pond (Andrew Haydon Park). Taken with a Nikon D3s and a Nikon 600 mm lens with the help of a 1.7 teleconverter.
