The Bucks stop here by Daniel Parent

Currently unavailable for purchase

While walking around a wooded area at Omega Park, I came across these bucks taking a break under cover of some cedar trees. This is a series of three images stitched together to give a wide angle view of the scene. My thanks go out to the bucks for their patience during the process. Taken with a Nikon D3s and a Nikon 70-200 mm lens

A marvellous pano, Dan! Beautiful scene. You were out walking? We got into trouble for that!

  • Hi Mike,

There are a few sections of the park where you allowed to walk about; the timberwolf/bear enclosure, the trout lake area amonghst the fallow deer and the area where they feed white tailed deer. There is a large parking lot, picnic tables, toilet facilities and depending on the time of the year they have hayrides and even you can rent a golf cart to go the nearby farm.

    Best regards,

    Dan

We were at the Arctic Wolf compound and we asked a couple of guys working there if it was okay. They said no problem. Then one of the Park Guys came along and he was not happy! Still we got about 40 minutes up close to the wolves. What a wonderful experience!
