  • Thank you Bill; Glad you like it…. I have taken several shots of (mostly blue) herons taking the plunge and have never posted one as usually the head (eye) is the point of interest. I liked this image for its even lighting, wing spread and breeding plumage just sticking out of the water…. that I thought it would be OK to post
