I had settled into a blind and spent a good portion of the day waiting for a black crowned night heron to show up. It ended up being a good day with a few dropping by my hide area. I’m usually looking for take offs, landings and something a little different. There was not much going on with this one bird until he was visited by a pesky dragonfly which caught his attention and mine. It was not until I viewed my images later that I realized that this gem was within my seiries of images.
