This idea came to me because I made a comparison with death and the life of a running shoe. In high school when Cross Country season started I used to buy my running shoes and think of how long they were going to last. By the end of the season my shoes were so worn out that they were practically useless. Now I think that we can compare our lives to the life of a running shoe, we go through so many miles, through so many obstacles and we never know when the road is going to end, or how many more miles we will be able to run.

An instant favorite for me Stephanie. This shoe tells a wonderful story all on its own, but the phrase at the top really stimulates thought.

    Dear one…how philosophic.!
(i think that you talk in Spanish…do you?….made a comment in Spanish..if you don´t understand it well…just tell me will you?)
Yes….but the image that came to me is that of the body as the tennis shoes…and well…hope not to be so worn out when I will be old…(je, je, je)
    Too bad.
Tennis shoes can be disposed of…thrown out…really. Life, is comparable, may be, but you see…when you are young you fancy this.when your are mature.you start to feel like did you see the film “Back to the Future”? so like that….and life is not so linear….worning out. I love your work because it expresses a tremendous lonelines, a great question that you feel inside, and when you do it…like that you are waiting for an answer…. we are alive because we ask and wait for answers….
Your mind is solid….and as far as I can know your father…your genes and raising is there.. shinning..for good.
    A hug.
