Daylillie
Daylillies are often referred to as “the perfect perennial.”
These plants are perennial. The name Hemerocallis comes from the Greek words ἡμέρα (hēmera) “day” and καλός (kalos) “beautiful”. The flowers of most species open at sunrise and wither at sunset, possibly replaced by another one on the same stem the next day. Some species are night-blooming.
Taken on 7th Street, found in someone’s garden.
Used a Kodak Z650 EasyShare 10 X Zoom

Thanks Trish. On 7th Street, the gentleman who owns the garden actually has this part of the garden on the grass by the street. He also has Poenies and other flowers growing there.
