It’s seventy years since
A nasty kid
Broke off her Salt’s head
And left him dying
In a puddle of powder.

Now she peers wildly
Maddened by the nearest giggle
Hoping to hide from
Hands unable to tell
Play from cruelty.

    WONDERFUL WORK!!…;-D
    LOVE THE POEM WITH IT!!

  • A friend asked me to do a picture of her grandmother’s pepper shaker Tammera… And to do it so that her two children could each enjoy the little thing… Without decapitating it. So the story emerged.

Great work and words Ted, all the best for the new year my friend, love, anna xoxo

  • As I told Tammera above Anna… The work was sponsored… Although, as usual, I refused payment. Well, financial payment anyhow. Don’t want to lose my laboriously re-aquired amateur standing :-)

Lol, the amateur standing, ha, ha…This is such a beautiful story Ted, I didn’t realize it was a pepper shaker… I thought it was a christmas figure, a story right out of a fairy tale, well done my friend, love, anna xoxo
