Aging… Um…. Maturing. Still wondering what I’ll be when I grow up.
Love how you have done this Ted.
Have you noticed yet that things which seemed ancient to you as a kid begin to be merely very very old? Hmmmm….. Odd, huh? Thanks Carmen.

A sign of the times “Space for rent”
You’re right Mel. Terrific match for you to make… I missed it, now never will. Thanks.

Something old. Something blue. And something fading as well? Thanks Carol.
Thanks Carol. Sometimes I feel like the early Europeans living as the inherited works become ruins…
Love the processing! Great work Ted!
Nice of you Lori… Park Avenue Shoes is gone, perhaps twenty years now… but no one ever removed the sign on the deteriorating flat iron building. It is a lump of nostalgia, eh?
I love this. beautiful photo and I really sense the feeling of appreciation of a by gone day and possibly yearning for simpler times. I also love the capture of this elegant architecure and simultaneously the sadness of it being for rent.
Clever how they can pile mortared bricks to both solve a problem and leave an artwork. There was this corner, they needed a flat-iron building… FWOOP! They built it! Probably in the enthusiasm of the late 1800s. You can still sense that optimism in the place can’t you John? Thanks for for support.
