Truck by Ted Byrne

It sat there in its little glass box. The owner says it’s maybe a century old. I thought about buying it. But instead I took the little guy’s picture.

There’s geek stuff on my blogsite. But the conversation this character held with me is all right here…

Canon 7D
PS/CS4: Topaz, AlienSkin:Bokeh, custom designed textures and brushes.

Aging… Um…. Maturing. Still wondering what I’ll be when I grow up.

    Definitely a spirit captured here.

  • Thanks a lot. This is a favorite of mine and it is so rewarding to have reinforcement. He really is a capable looking little guy in his crystal case and it just felt good to bring him back to life for others to play with once again, if only virtually.

Congratulations on your wonderful feature, brilliant work and well deserved.

  • Thank you Andrea. As I wrote above, this little feisty little guy somehow really appeals to the child in me. It felt so good to release him for others to enjoy.

Great shot! Interesting image! Congratulations on the feature!

  • You are nice to support this image Angie, it is a favorite of mine and sometimes the images that we like a whole lot go orphaned for encouragement. I really appreciate yours. Especially since you are so close that I suppose you’ve mined the Adamstown antique cases for ideas yourself, huh?

  • Now this is soooo terrific. I was worried that my little guy wouldn’t get noticed in a whirled of epic work. To me he seems deserving and it is great to get your reinforcement. Thanks a lot!
