This is one I would hang on my wall. What I find fascinating about this image is that somewhere it evokes a sense of danger. Especially towards the right side of the frame. (I must be thinking of Steven King’s Chistine).

  • Whoa! Thanks Daniel. This was a rewarding image to build… You might enjoy clicking here to see where I park my Ford. :→

This old beauty looks as if he is ready to ride out and take on the new cars of todays generations! Those old beauties were built to last! Great job Ted!!!

  • Okay Anthony, I gotta admit this old beauty’s a hair younger than he appears. You might enjoy clicking here to see where I park my Ford. :→

well this is just gorgeous work, Ted. I am reading Gatsby right now and it could well have belonged to one of the “careless” people some years after Fitzgerald’s tale. Outrageous light and composition.

  • Gatsby is one of my BFFs. Fitzgerald was the master of the metaphor. Once you’ve read it you will see his allusions everywhere around you… it’s spooky. Thanks for the nice words Mary Ann, I’m a big fan of your work.

    really like this shot Ted

  • Just as you struggled to decide among wonderful iterations in your “Not Alone” series – this image was a longer term work in progress. I think this finally got it right, but it’s interesting how we not only decide among which image we will enhance, but which enhancement best communicates our intentions – feelings – ideas. Thanks for the reinforcement Noel.
