Ted Byrne replied
You’re kind Jotham… and correct, everyone did.
Shelly Harris
wonderful poster!
Ted Byrne replied
I wanted to try a square poster Shelly. Thought’d would stick out from the average. Thanks for the support.
kathy s gillen...
excellent !
Ted Byrne replied
Thank you Kathy. She seemed to lure my lens.
Heather Rivet...
fantastic work and yes everyone won
Ted Byrne replied
I may do a series of these Heather… re. the event. I’m anxious to see what this technique can do to pull a conceptual series together. We’ll see. Meantime your support means a lot to me, thanks.
Mary Ann Reilly
she is beautiful and so is the art work, Ted.
Ted Byrne replied
Appreciate it Mary Ann. I’m fascinated by the AlienSkin plug ins, and since they give us a freebie thirty days with full usage, well, it looks more exciting than the LensBaby. Plus unlike the LensBaby, the original image is left un-touched. I like it that they give me infinite options.
Alf Caruana
wonderful work ted love the processing here
Ted Byrne replied
As I wrote to Mary Ann and Heather above Alf, I’m presently hooked on the free 30 day trial verson of the AlienSkin SnapArt plug in. Looks to be an infinitely useful series of tools to pull more feeling out of my stuff. Thanks for the support… we shall see.
Karen Cougan
Looks like a painting Ted, congrats on your wonderful Poster
xkc
Ted Byrne replied
I’m enjoying the AlienSkin plugins Karen. I feel the way friends felt when they got LensBabies… except unlike the LensBaby, the plugins don’t degrade the original image so I’m in total control. Kew-el! Thanks Karen.
Heather Rivet...
i think that a series would be fanatastic
Ted Byrne replied
Its coming Heather, I’m up to #5! Wheeeee!
Lois Bryan
completely beautiful, Ted!!!!!!! Congratulations again!!!!! This is stunning!!!!!
Ted Byrne replied
Always appreciate your support Lois. As I wrote to Karen above, this is an interesting technique.
Nancy Vice
Ted this is a wonderful poster, shes a cute little tyke, and I love the technique. which you say is “alien skin”. Is that through photoshop? Hope to see more!
Ted Byrne replied
It’s at AlienSkin.com… and I’m using both their Bokeh and SnapArt filters in PhotoShop… Although they may also work as stand alone devices.. dunno. I’ve got details on my blogsite here.. Enjoy.
Shanina Conway
It’s a fantastic poster, such a sweet face and congrats again;)
Ted Byrne replied
You know, given your playfully charming explorations of gamin beauty, I’m really flattered. Thanks Shanina.
Colleen Farrell
Fantastic! Outstanding painting, Ted. This is one of my favorites of your Race Against Racism posters.
Ted Byrne replied
She is just so magically pretty Colleen. Photographing her was like watching a lightening bug on a mid summer night. Thanks for the warm compliment.
JayneLogan
This entire series is so heartwarming. Brilliant, every one. Need I say more?
Ted Byrne replied
Well… you don’t need to but….. :-)
