Excellent work !
Ted Byrne replied
Thanks for the compliments. I was particularly intrigued by the weathered and obsolete flagpole atop the steps to the right. It seemed as if a finger from the past still poked up to feel the day’s wind, or perhaps to warn away people from climbing up to what those stairs might reveal.
goldsardine
this is superb, with its saturated colors and brilliant details.
Ted Byrne replied
Thank you. This is Corporation Beach which still looks like a set from the movie Summer of 42. I expect a squadron of Army Air Corp fighter planes to roar out of those clouds.
GerryMac
excellent perspective Ted great textures love the sky!
Hollie Cook
beautiful colors!
Ted Byrne replied
The colors at sunrise are always eye catching on Cape Cod, but particularly when a night-time storm is blowing off to the north and west. It’s as if you are standing in a crack in the universe.
LindaR
you have a way of leading us into the moment ~ where there are pages and chapters of stories unspoken and waiting to be told…brilliant xx
Ted Byrne replied
Thanks Linda, I think that art has three zones that are necessary and sufficient: craft, aesthetics, and resonance. And it’s the last that lets us tumble through the frame into ideas and/or feelings that marry the artist and viewer in a moment. It’s what I try to experience whether I’m artist or viewer.
Heather Rivet...

An excellent image. One can’t help but wonder what is at the top of the stairs?
