My name is Merice; I am a Photographer and Print maker. Glenn my husband of 30 years named me technochick when I first took up computer imagery.
I started photography in 2005 and held my first public display of work in Burton Agnes Hall court yard gallery. I was accepted in October 2005 by The Leeds Fine Art Club, thus becoming their first ever Photographer. This was a great achievement for me as I was born and raised in Leeds
I create manipulated Images so when I am taking a shot I try to visualize a finished idea in my mind thus trying to control the outcome.
I have suffered with ME for the past 2 & 1/2 decades. I use herbal and homeopathic remedies but mostly positive thinking and my spirituality. I take each and every day as a new chance to live love laugh and be happy
At an age where most people are winding down getting ready to retire, my life has taken on a new beginning’s. I now live in Sewerby Bridlington, and walk by the sea most days. My work is on permanent Exhibition at the Priory Gallery 45 High street in the fabulous historic Old Town of Bridlington where there is an up and coming cultural quarter with Galleries Restaraunts and many shops pubs etc.
A Delightful day can be spent just browsing and enjoying the atmosphere.
