Chameleon me

watchful
which way

absorbing
the emotions
feelings
around me
forever
changing
blending in
mustn’t
stand out
don’t notice me
don’t look at me
happy
sad
fitting in
surroundings
masked
smiling
laughing
crying
moving
with
the flow

I do alot of blending in to my surrounds just to hide myself in the open. Works most of the time. Great write.

Yes, it can be an asset but sometimes a curse me thinks! Thanks JR. xx

Sometimes it’s ok to go with the flow, but other times just have to go against it and if you get a few splinters well that’s just tough… nice writing Alison :-)

  • Teacup replied

Ooohh, those splinters… pass me the iodine and tweezers please! lol Yes, you are right Matt. Thanks for stopping by. xxx

I so relate to this piece. I used to want to stand out and then I decided that it was much easier to blend in. So beautifully stated! Congratulations on your feature!
