Turi, another gorgeos capture. That’s worth a fave , too.
Have you ever thought of publishing your photographs? They are so beautiful and show the Etna from stunning perspectives.

  • Ciao Karin, actually I made this photo few hours ago, because last night the Etna has made another wonderful eruption! I didn’t sleep, but it was fantastic. Many thanks for all!

This image reminds me of how lucky I was to make the trip up Mt. Etna before the 2010 eruption. The day was clear and sunny even though the craves were sprouting ash…Jules

  • Thank you so much, Jules! Happy you have visited our wonderful mountain! Perhaps in Sicily you have learned that for us the Etna is not “the volcano” but “the mountain”. So, in our language, she is female, she is like a mother. We love her. Ciao! Turi

Awesome shot! What about the town below though?

  • Thank you, Cinderelli! The eruption was not dangerous for the people. So, great show and some trouble for the Catania Airport, but nothing serious. Ciao! Turi
