Artist's Description

BEST VIEWED LARGE
Unusual phenomenon on the Mount Etna Volcano: all the craters on the top of the mountain, covered by snow, emit gases and vapors at the same time. The summit craters of the Etna are four: Voragine, Bocca nuova, North-East, South-East. The summit of the Etna is around 3.350 meters above sea level.
It happened only few hours before a new huge eruption from the South-East crater, the first on the left in this picture (about the eruption you can see the photo “Fire in the Night” in my portfolio).
