Tom Talbott

Since 2006 I have been slowly discovering the natural world around me through photography. Between August 2011 and August 2012 I was able to explore at a deeper level by taking a sabbatical from my regular work. I travelled from Northern California to Homer, Alaska exploring places that I had never seen or spending extended time in places I already knew. It was a great experience and I learned a lot. I continue to explore and photograph birds and nature as I move into another life phase.

I am sharing these images to help inspire others to seek out nature, whether it be in your backyard or out in the wilderness.
