The skyline of Edinburgh on a crisp Autumn evening shot on a Nikon D300 with a Nikon 24-70 VR lens. The centre of Edinburgh, and the old town in particular, is a World Heritage site. The three floodlit buildings are (left to right) the HQ of the Bank of Scotland, the Castle, and the Blamoral hotel, an old railway hotel percehd above Edinburgh’s main railway station, Edinburgh Waverley.

Thanks very much, not in between, but near one and I spend a lot of time near the other so I travek between the two. I used to work for an organisation called Tayforth so it seemed appropriate.

Thanks, my companion was shooting at 24 megapixels on a Sony A900 but this “mere” 12MP shot holds up well in comparison
