Kinkaku-ji.Kyoto

The Golden Pavilion, or Kinkaku-ji, is a Zen Buddhist Temple in Kyoto, Japan. Originally built in 1397, it is listed as an UNESCO Historical Monument in Ancient Kyoto. It was destroyed by fire and rebuilt in 1950; then restored again in 1987, while the roof was restored in 2003.
The top two stories are covered in pure gold leaf, while the temple is surrounded by beautiful gardens.
