Deep Roots was great fun to do and has been received well among my small following. It was inspired by a nearby school construction site. It was sad to see so many trees ripped from the earth. I really didn’t know I was such a big tree hugger, but I was…upset. The vast root system was just as impressive as the leaves had been, flourishing and falling in season. I’m sure I’ll be just as inspired by the children that need that school as well.
