I am a self taught painter with a passion for landscapes and water scapes of any kind.I love to capture little moments in time from places I have visited that have a lasting impression on me.
I live in Australia and grew up in a laid back beachy suburb called Coffs Harbour before moving to the Sydney.
I had always painted for family and friends, but decided not so long ago to take my art seriously.
It’s absolutely perfect. Wonderful composition and color.

Hi Tash, a million thanks for all of your comments — and I notice that there are lots of them.
This painting really jumped out at me in a Tom Roberts, Arthur Streeton, Charles Conder kind of way. The composition and treatment of evening light are very well managed. Somehow, I would want to add a little sharper detail to the foreground without distracting from the focal point of the harbour. You might like to try a small palette knife while the paint is still wet to add a little texture.
It has all the elements of an excellent painting.
Such a peaceful, inviting scene. Excellent work!
