I keep coming back to look at this.

Damn Miss Tash, most photographers could go decades without coming close to achieving something this powerfull.

So many elements that work together. The surface of the water, the murky feel, and those absolutely astounding rays of light. The way light transitions from bright to dark from the top of the frame to the bottom creates a real feeling of tension.

Then you have used a diagonal which works well to draw our eyes down to your face. And there is the absolute highlight of this image – you are staring straight down the camera, making your viewers connect with you in a very meaningful and powerfull way. Placing your face on the 1/3rd line from the RHS works very well to create balance.

Just awesome.
