A figure behind a blue blind with the window behind that, was a photo once and I thought I would try to paint it. The start of my blue period.

When you broke my heart the first time,
My heart, it didn’t understand,
But when we met again that day,
Another heartbreak wasn’t planned,
But my heart saw your happy face,
And warmed to your embrace,
It remembered happy times,
It thought it had found it’s place.
You didn’t know how much I cared,
Or how I cried at night,
You weren’t interested in my woes,
You did not feel my plight,
I could not tell you way back when,
I can not tell you now.
My heart remembers painfully,
it wants to scream out OW!
Yet again my dreams are gone,
There’s nothing left for me,
I’ve used up all the hope I had,
No future can I see,
I wish that somewhere there was one,
A person I could love,
I have to leave that one to fate,
Or anyone up above.
My angels showed me such a love,
That no one can endure,
They gave me such a memory,
I’d never known before,
It happened when we met again,
I felt the surge inside,
If only I could spread this love,
To everyone worldwide.
