I don’t smoke and neither did Rachelle, in fact she had just given up about 3 weeks ago, but I persuaded her to hold an unlit cigarette in a holder for this shot and I added the smoke from a previous shoot where I was trying to get smoke patterns from a blown out candle.
I then added a cloudy texture to try to give a smoke filled atmosphere and changed the image to mono in Topaz BW effects and Topaz detail.
I enjoyed doing this as a bit of a challenge as it’s quite different from the stuff I normally do and it seemed a good subject for a mono treatment.
