I saw this little girl all dressed up as an evacuee at a re-enactment of the 40’s a while ago. I have put her against an old Bakery shop taken in Blists Hill village, added one of my textures and given the image a retro look in Topaz adjust and CS6. I was trying to create the moment when she has just arrived off the bus in a country village and is just going to meet her new foster parents.

The 1940’s mood is awesome. Splendid work!!

  • Thank you Thea, you are very kind. I remember the 40’s (Just) as very grey days, which is why this is so dark.x
