Wow Tara, this is so unique. Almost abstract, really love the tones.

Interesting image, Tara, I’m trying to get a sense of scale. How high up were you when you shot this one?

At first I thought it was oil slicks, then I realized these are pools of water, the remains of a lake that is drying up. Am I right? I do know that this photograph is an eye-catcher, and rewards extended viewing with new visual insights. Just one more gem in your continuing series of gems.
Tara Turner replied
thanks so very much Peter :))

P.S. And what’s with your new thumbnail self-portrait? Are you being apprehended? The officer looks like he’s wearing a flak jacket. Do you need bail money?
Tara Turner replied
lol….it’s an old picture from my wedding….there was a murder at our wedding venue the morning of our wedding day….there was police tape everywhere….this cop was making sure that no one wandered into the sectioned off areas. We had one murder in our city for the entire year….it just happened to be the day of my wedding and in the area that I was getting married….the cop was a good sport though :)
Ric Alexander
