It’s been too long since I did macro photography! I’ve been focusing on portraiture since getting my DSLR two years ago and have not yet managed to get my hands on a macro lens. Yesterday I got my little Powershot out for a bit of exercise though, and found I still love macro just as much as I ever did! :)
This is a macro shot of a tiny water droplet (about 1mm across) on a flower petal. The refraction in the droplet is of the heart of the flower.
Canon Powershot, hand held. Unedited except for a slight levels boost.
Proudly New Zealand-made. :)
