    I SO know where you’re coming from, Hope!!! I’ve only just got this camera, until two weeks ago I had a little ten year old 3.2 mp Kodak Easyshare with a minimal focal distance of 1.2m and no optical zoom at all….let’s just say Macro was NOT an option. Hence why I’ve spent the first few weeks of having my new camera feverishly indulging my deprived Macro passion!!! :))

    Wonderful! I always thought I could not shoot such extreme macros with my compact digital camera, although it has the macro function. Now that I have seen this photo I’ll try again!
