Tara Lemana

Kia Ora!! My name is Tara, I’m a Dutch Kiwi, having spent my childhood in The Netherlands and the last 20-odd years in beautiful Aotearoa (New Zealand). I’m a wife and mother, a singer and songwriter as well as a visual artist. My favourite style of visual art to create (at the moment) is fantasy fine art composites. I pride myself on using only my own resources for my work, with the exception of base portrait photos used to base commissioned images on, and on rare occasion, a photoshop brush or texture (always properly credited of course). I have a passion for Macro photography and portrait photography as well as photo manipulation.

I am entirely self-taught and have only been taking photos since Aug 2008, branching out into photo manipulation only towards the end of 2008 so I am a very much still a beginner. :) That said, I have been drawing all my life and have always been the creative, artsy type so it is very much a part of me.
