Artist born and raised in Michigan, I no longer am residing in the land of enchantment and notorious art community of Taos, New Mexico. I have been re-located as an advertising account consultant back to the Mid-west. (11.22.08) Ohhhhhh Another update; Heading for the Carolinas, I’ll be close to Hilton Head, Myrtle Beach and Charleston … great for me, as I love to Golf, and run
on the beaches, and Charleston is another wonderful artisan community.
I have been Drawing since I was 3 years old. Studied the arts at Henry Ford Community College and Western Michigan University along with Lawrence Tech U. Most of my style is self taught and inspired by my surroundings with a huge influence from nature and architecture. My Degree is in Architectural design and studies. I lean towards Architectural structures and shapes. I also am taken with vivid color and nature’s subjects, along with the play of light and shadow. My passion for photography has grown with my need to paint. Always looking for subjects to paint, I continuously carry a camera around with me … taking photo after photo of subjects I’d like to paint and add to my portforlio. The two seem to go hand in hand for me. So keep your eyes open… one of those photos just may become a painting as well some day soon.
