Ohh, I really like this, what a great shot! I’m inspired by this to go shoot something of my own using night lighting.

Thanks eric. One of the things i love about my D80 is being able to carry it with me at night for hand held night shots. you need to work the blacks a bit in your favourite program but they come out great with little effort…and NO tripod!!

Nice capture tano, the D80 did a great job on focus. It would be nice if you could share the EXIF on shots like this, as well as what lens was used.

thanks for the comments. barkeypf, from memory I had the ISO set to H1.0 (or 3200) on Aperture setting with the lowest aperture I could set. The lens was just the standard 18-55 that comes with the D80. However, I have set up my camera similar to the D80 setup recommendation by Ken Rockwell that is on his site www.kenrockwell.com
Hope this helps

Amazing image, it takes my breath away.

I’m really drawn to this. I love the colour palette, and the darkness adds so much suspense.

I like this shot!!! I especially like how the crossing is lit and then there is a shadowed area. Makes you wonder what lies in the dark lol!!!!
