All those hands…. are they holding him back or holding him up ? Is he smiling because he’s unaware that they’re hindering him & so he’s oblivious… or is he smiling because he’s happy that they are helping him ?
I’m not sure if I like this or not, but I can tell you one thing, it’s a very compelling & for me anyway…. thought provoking painting.
