How is this love,
which dances on clouds with lightness and meaning,
then departs silently?
With burnt wings and smoke-filled heavens,
how can cupid fairly shoot his intentions?
Perhaps serendipity will please his arrow,
taking rise to heavens door.

so still

in a world beyond time…

I really enjoy enjoying your work! blows me away how special and sensitive you are. I love this image and now I’ve read the words I’m even more touched. I have done the Icarus flight towards love only to plummet on frizzled wings to land in a pile of dead leaves!! Perhaps when the smoke clears, Cupid will put in a clean shot for me – if I ask nicely!!

Ah, my dear friend. Perhaps you too need to fly in open skies to give Cupid a clear shot!
The words now included are a new addition. I’m torn between saying something, and hence influencing the viewer, or leaving things open.
